Good Morning...This might be a stretch...but we had a Model A Ford in the shop that gave us fits until we, by elimination, checked the ignition switch! We jumped it and the old girl fired right up...sort of an out of the box problem...however it might be worth checking...as well as all under the dash wiring...Ernie in Arizona

Miss Prudence and I took our normal early Sunday Morning ride and did not see any horses or coyotes...The old girl just ran along delightfully...We did see a good number of girls/ladies walking along in very short summertime shorts with eighty to 100 pound four legged security systems walking along side...Remarkable views for 5:45 in the morning...some looked even more remarkable than our Packards. Looks like a decent project car. Needs a new rear bumper and has a new aluminum radiator! Some elbow grease, seat covers and then how are the engine, transmission and front end? Seems to sit level...appears to have had some recent love...could be a decent driver if it goes within the $5,000 to $8,000 or so. I'll keep Miss Prudence! Ernie in Arizona

Good Morning Joe...You have had the Princess for many years and know what she can and can not do. If you let her find her way...at the speed she likes, I'll bet she makes it just fine. I would imagine that this would be at least a two person trip...what great fun it would be on the Lincoln Highway! It seems to me without looking at a map that the Lincoln Highway would be the more northern route...The Princess, and you, would most likely be happier on the northern (cooler) route! Good Morning all...Took Miss Prudence for her normal 40 minute Sunday Morning Day Break ride this morning. I opened the garage door and found myself looking at a Coyote just across the street. We looked at each other and he sort of seemed to shrug and walk on up the street. He was NOT impressed with me!
Miss Prudence caught on the third four second crank and I let her warm up a bit, backed her out and we headed off. Lots of folks out walking as it was only about 80 or so at sun up. Nice ride...no other old cars out running around...one additional Coyote trotting down the middle of Cactus Road, he just moved over a bit and we just slipped by him and went on down the road. We had a fan belt squeak for a couple of blocks and then it quieted down. A big black SUV followed us for a few blocks, we were on a tight one lane each way road...when we hit a stretch of two lanes each way, the SUV passed us and a big hairy arm came out of the drivers window with a big (chubby) Thumb Up! NICE! It made Prudence's day. Ernie in Arizona

Good Morning Marston...Do you think that the poor Packard spent too much time being carried around and not enough time under its own power? I know if Miss Prudence sits for more than a week...she is most definitely grumpy! Ernie in Arizona
