Call Kanter's and ask for samples. I bought a set of their custom seat covers and was totally satisfied. They have quite a few samples that are 'period' looking.

Go to Bob Drake's web site. There are many mirrors of this type available.

I too had the same problem with my '41. Went to a Pertronix and found out I only had 4 volts at the distributor. There was too much current drop at the ignition switch. Installed a number 10 wire directly from the battery to coil with a toggle switch in the middle. Solved the problem.

You might try the repop Ford dealers like the V8 or Model A guys. The parts to rebuild the drag link are not all that different. Check with the parts men to find out the size of the parts you need.

I would try the LED bulbs first. I had the 6 volt halogen bulbs in my '41. They draw a lot of current. Make sure your generator can handle the extra current if you go with the halogens.

I have two NOS Distributor caps for a 6 cyl. Packard. The box is NAPA though not sure it is original to the cap. They are for 426, 433, 526, 533 Packard. The box says also fits DuPont. Don't know if they are the same as '23. Can send pictures if you are interested. John
