Kevin, the 1955 senior series carpet is not the same as the 56 Mr. Pushbutton is looking for.

John, the note to Mr. Pushbutton was done in jest. He asked the question in this forum not in the PAC forum, so why bring something else into it? This forum is supposed to be about helping each other out. I was just trying to get someone to come forward with a carpet sample. I am waiting for the correct 56 carpet to be manufactured and I supplied the deep green color sample. The manufacturer is waiting for the blue sample so all 4 colors can be made at once. I have nothing to do with the project except to be the first customer to hand over my money for the copper and green colors I need for my cars. I don't even know if they are going to make a large run of the carpets and sell them nationaly.

I think Roscoe told me it was a three speed. I am not sure, but it may have 2 4bbl also.

Mal made it to Michigan and stopped by for about an hour. Here is a photo of him with my 1956 400.

I still remember driving off NAS Bermuda on the "wrong" side of the security gate. There were several Marine guards who were not too happy with my Air Force driving. I soon figured out my mistake and was very carefull for the rest of the deployment.

John, works for me. Mal may be on a tight time line from the emails he has sent me though. If not, I'll see you friday at the Redford Theater.

That drag race took place on friday evening at the end of the 2007 Packard national meet in South Bend. The driver of the Packard is Roscoe Stelford. He had a ball on the track.

Mal, I also am glad you made it to the states. Be sure to give me a call when you are going to visit The Henry Ford.

Kevin, I have a new original power steering pulley that is factory painted gray by Packard. If you have no luck, let me know and i'll loan it to you to get matched at the paint store. It is on eBay right now, so let me know and I'll end the auction to loan it to you.
