All the non-seniors had different taillights back to '51 but, of course, I was referring to the seniors which were all the same from '51 to '54. The '54 senior backup lights blended into the taillights but were separate and did not actually attach to them so the taillights were the same.

Here's a dreamer. Its advertised as a roadster but its clearly a closed 840. A quarter million is clearly a pipedream

A '52 Patrician, project, 50K miles, good original interior, dash shows a number of additions of unspecified purpose:

Steve

What the highly-optimist NYC seller misidentifies as a "1931 packard 840 individual custom roadster coupe" from the poor photo appears to be a '31 833 five passenger coupe, style 467 factory-built body. It is definitely not by Fleetwood. Someone along the way found a 'Fleetwood" custom body tag in a cigar box of salvaged items.

That's quite a control panel on the dash! If anyone buys it, I have a 1952 Patrician dash available without all the extra holes.

A look at the headlights and hood show that the supposed 840 is actually either an 833 or 826. Fleetwood body is interesting, very unusual to have a custom body on a Standard 8. Strange he's asking $240,000 Euros in the body of the ad.
