There's a turnbuckle on the hood side of the cover. Loosen it and set the buckle free. The cover should just pull right out. Nothing else holds it, except friction.

If you have modern tires in there you might need to deflate about half way, to make them skinnier. I keep a foot pump in the trunk for re inflation. Makes taking the cover off so much easier.
