And from Down Under - Happy Thanksgiving to all.
As I type this most of you will be tucking into your Turkey or about to do so. Enjoy the day with your families.

I hope everyone is able to spend some good quality time their family, and eat way to much Turkey!
Just remember why the wives are out shopping tomorrow (as they always so), that gives us the time to work in the garage! Eveyyone have a great Turkey Day!

Even though it is looking slightly scruffy, I'm going to take the '56 Patrician out today to dinner at my wife's sons home (from her previous marriage).
Hope the rest of you have as much fun!

Man, that is one beautiful model. Insane detail, the AC stuff looks absolutely proper. I'm not into 1/24 scale, I got into 1/43 about 20 years ago,and built a modest collection of that scale. A friend bought and gifted to me the inexpensive 1:18 scale Carrebbeans that he bought at Menards--a Home Depot kind of store. Here are pictures of my collection, as it hangs in my basement today. There are close-up shots of my Packards, pay special attention to the Franklin mint '55 Carribbean, which looks like it was in a bad accident. That is just the age deformation of the plastic chassis.

dr: Thanks for posting the picture of the registration card. It is always nice to find something original like that, when you have purchased a car.
The automobile manufacturer I was referring to was Martini, which produced autos from 1897 to 1933. Captain H.H.P. Deasy was the agent for Martini in England. John F. Shireman
