Thanks for the good advice. I understood the problem and can probably rule out the ignition as the cause.

Today I had again a typical problem. I drove my OneTwenty 1936 for about 40 minutes. Arrived at home, I stop the engine briefly to open the garage door. After that I needed almost 5 minutes until the engine started again. I have an electric fuel pump as an add-on that I always turn on before starting and turn off when driving. No matter with or without choke, the engine starts again very difficult when warm. Cold start usually works better.

Thank you very much.
The steering has hardly any play. The wheel bearings have also been renewed. The tyres are older, but the tread is like new. The problem only occurs when there are ruts in the asphalt on older roads. For example, caused by trucks. I'll have the camber checked again.

My 1936 120 Coupe is very sensitive to ruts. Then the steering needs full attention. Compared to my Ford Model A, the Packard is much more sensitive. When the road is ok, the car has very good straight-line stability.
Have you also observed this?

Hello,
I would like to replace the oil drain plug on my 36 One-Twenty with an oil drain valve. Does anyone know the thread size of the oil drain plug? Thank you in advance.

I'll get an R-9 transmission soon. The relay, kickdown switch, switch & bracket and O.D. Cable & switch I have already. I hope that the effort and the result is similar to the R-11. I will report on the installation in spring.

We have a very eventful summer this year. But currently about 70 ? F.
I will install a thermometer for oil temperature. Seeking currently an oil-dipstick thermometer. @ Flackmaster: I probably get a R9 overdrive in autumn. Gerd

Hi, I suspect that the engine of my 1936 One-Twenty is not warm enough. The thermostat opens at about 160 ? F. Here I add a photo. This is the temperature display for a longer ride.
