Looks like galvanic corrosion. If you look closely it appears to be around the steel pan bolts and aluminum crankcase threads.

Galvanic corrosion is typically caused when two dissimilar metals are improperly coupled together in a corrosive environment.

Galvanic corrosion is caused by an electrochemical reaction between different classifications of metals rubbing against each other in wet or grimy conditions. This type of corrosion commonly occurs between aluminum and cast iron; copper and steel; and stainless steel and aluminum.

I've used Crest toothpaste to successfully clean up scratched / hazed over plastic.

Same here, IMO interior work was amazing.

No info on the actual sold price, only that it was offered for $165,000.

The body was customized with boattail speedster-style body work, a folding soft top was installed, and leather upholstery was added. Power is provided by a 356ci inline-eight paired with an overdrive-equipped three-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes an Edmonds cylinder head and dual carburetors along with AutoMeter gauges, woodgrain trim, power windows, and power-adjustable front seats.
