Never knew of the rear wiper option...am guessing that it must be quite rare. Worthless tidbit...reverse lights (at least the lenses) are the same for many year Checker cabs (as long as they're the ones mounted below the trunk lid, not below the taillight).

I miss the days of those wacky double 6v batteries with the solenoid on top which would throw 12v to the starter but 6 to the rest of the car...and the added benefit was that the charging system could still recharge it (good luck with those 8v batteries and a tweaked voltage regulator). These batteries came in handy for the well worn smokey engines that were problem children to start.

Now that I thunk of it, I wouldn't mind a copy of Nat Dawe's Postwar Packards if there's one available at a good price.

There's no need for a thief proof number...who the hell would want steal that critter?

If that power antenna is for a '55 then it's positive ground...so you may find that you need to reverse the connections for it to operate correctly.
