2392-5 - Dash removal

Subject pretty much sums it up, I'm trying to remove the fabric seal running down the front door pillars, and it is stuck where it tucks into the sides of the dash assembly.

I've removed the big screws at the bottom of the window molding, and anything noticeable underneath. But the Dash won't budge.

I've added pics to Webshots that will hopefully help you folks understand what I am referring to. Direct links to the problem in question are as follows:

Hope you folks can assist.

There's an inspection plate on these? Similar to a Model T? So one could see the valves? This I did not know...

OK, back to the Garage tonight.

Thanks again everyone.

It's been a bit since I updated anything on here, so here it goes...

There is no Build Sheet, someone already made off with it. Kind of a set back, but I can get by without it...

No compression when checked on Cyl 1, 2, and 3... This has me disheartened... I was hoping to hear it run soon, not having to pull the engine...

On a better note, it cost me $500 buck to have the rad re-cord, and from other ventures, that wasn't so bad...

now, I need to do some reading on these Ultramatic Transmisions... Where to start...

I'm going in tonight to try and get this rad out. But first, someone told me where the build sheet for these cars is hiding, so I'm going to go and play some hide and seek to try and find the paper.

I've been told on other posts where to find the build sheet, I'm going to try and find it tonight... That will give me the low down on the car if it is indeed still there.

Where all these cars two tone? this one seems to still be painted it's original black, hardly any rust on the car, but the whole thing is black... not sure if that is correct or not. Hopefully the build sheet will tell me.

Thanks again to everyone who's given me there input, it's all greatly appreciated.

rad removal on a 23 seriers?

so, I been searching through the manuals trying to find how to remove the rad on these beasts, and cant seem to find anything. I have the inspection cover in front between the chrome grill and the top of the rad removed, and if I look at the back of the rad from the engine side, there looks to be two bolts holding it in. I simply can not see how to remove them or if there is more to removing the unit than that.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated as always.
