Big Kev & Brian: I reposted the two pictures of the Packard Pan American in the Show and Concept Cars category.

I also posted a third picture from my private collection of the Pan American at the New York Auto Show in 1952.

Pushbutton: I very glad to see that you are getting an article published in the upcoming issue of TPC. That information you posted certainly helps clear up something that has been puzzeling me for about a year now.

In the AACA forum last year you made an public offer to me, to help resolve a mattter between Stu Blond and myself over a letter he refused to publish in the TPC. You and I had two brief email exchanges on your offer. Your last email to me stated you wanted me to send you a copy of the letter I sent to Stu Blond, which I did email you a copy. Ever since sending a copy of the letter to you, you have been silent on the offer you made publically to me.

Now it seems that Stu made you a pretty good offer, for not helping me.

Clipper47: With your post about the article that is the current TPC, got me to thinking. I just realy wonder out loud if the article has any new,to add to what has already been writtten about the 55 & 56 Packard by other writers, and Packard historians. The history of every part of Packard has been written about so many times, that just about all of it by now is just a repeat of prior history already written about Packard.

Pushbutton: So you getting an article printed in the TPC, that certainly clears the air, about a public offer you made to me about a year ago in the AACA forum. However as to not side track this thread, that offer you made will be the subject of another thread later in the week.

Stephen: I think the part you are missing is a vavle assemby whcih is shown in the picture under the group number 31.104.

Packard simply listed it as a valve assembly. Packard part number 420158.

Stephen: I have the anser for your question, but I am having trouble posting part of the information that I have.

I emailed Big Kevin the information and he should be posting in the near furture. The missing part is part of the hydrolic operating assembly for the top.

BigKev: I will back off on the matter. That was fine in the begining when the AACA made the admission that they made the mistake, more than can be said for another club I know of, they should have left it at that. Coming back in here and trying to lay the blame on Eric, just doesn't make me to happy.

Peter: Stop trying to use Eric's request and blaming him for the big screw up you people made in deleting all his posts.

Eric's request gave you the chance to do something that you had been wanting to do all along. Last year you wanted to make several changes in the AACA Packard forum including splitting the forum up, and you also voiced dis-pleasure to Speedster at the lenght of his thread. By deleting all Erics posts and replies to those posts, this acomplished what you wanted to do a long time ago. What happend when you gutted the AACA forum was no accident. You figured that if people complained to much you could allways blame it upon Erics request, in which he only stated that his account be dis-continued, not that all his posts be deleted.

I have seen in the past how you bent the truth to suit your own needs. Prime example the private phone conversation that you and I had last year. Which over the weekend I will go into greater detail about, to show how you bend the truth to make other people look bad that you dislike.

Eric: Have to clean up after mother natures dumping snow in the wrong places. Will have some comments on how PeterG tried setting me up, and how I was banned. Also comments about a private conversation that that PeterG and I had, that he revealed in the AACA forum.
