So lemme get this straight, Eric...you are now going to compete with Mal in establishing a Packard Engine Registry? Are you going to establish a Packard Police Force with O/D to issue citations to all the owners whose engine numbers are not in step with the serial numbers or delivery dates? You're gonna see if you can compete with Mal to keep score of who can make demands of new registrants first? Why not just set up a network of lawyers to depose each new registrant... I believe April 1st is a long way off yet, so me thinks you're sitting in a field under a full moon waiting for the great pumpkin to arrive and bring a magic bag of Packard parts to all the good little boys and girls in your neighborhood? Hmmmm....maybe someone will then start a parts registry and we can get some real value to know who has what stashed. Gotta go now, its happy hour here.

Well, since I am online I'll toss a comment on the yellow '42. I vote for a 160, due to the bumpers and the senior hubcaps. (or a 120 in disguise!) I can't see the top of the runningboard, and cannot distinguish the hood trim by the picture.

Phil, "I have a 36 120B convertible 999", consider yourself lucky, NO woodgraining. Getting the dash colors right, now that is another can of worms...

There is no "breaker" per se. It is a simple fuse which is part the headlight switch itself. Look up underneath the dash and you should see it. Easy to remove with a pair of standard plastic fuse pliers to inspect.

John - don't be afraid to put a pair of 700-16's on. The additional diameter is good for a couple mph too.

As for a good website, this is it. You can post in the parts wanted forum and usually get what you need. Parts for this car are reasonably easy to obtain - much is available new, used, and reproduction. Depends on what you are needing of course, but point is, your car is reasonably easy to work on, and the knowledge base here is infinitely more valuable than a pile of catalogs that don't talk back.

Yeah, that one....can park in my garage anytime. I don't know if this car still exists - I'd like to know, and like to own it.
