Would you have the weight that's attached to the shaft on the manifold side for a 1938, 120 8 cyl? Don't know if it's the same as the 37?

I have another question on this assembly. When mounted on the trunk, the bracket that hold the license plate is at the wrong angle. It needs to be pushed back a bit so it is vertical. Looking at the parts book, there seems to be another metal piece that adjust for this that I do not have. My question is, is there another "wedge" piece (look by nut that attaches the bracket) that is suspose to be there? Can someone take a picture? I include the picture from the parts book.

I'm looking for an oil bath air cleaner for my 1938 8cyl, 1601 jr Packard. Can anyone post a picture of one? Does anyone have one they would like to sell?

I found two tail lights, one has "VEGA" on it the other does not? Which one is original? Are they both correct?

Bolt plating

I tried looking through the Fourm and could not find anything on re-plating rusty nuts and bolts. I am restoring my 1938 8 cyl, model 1601 Packard and was wondering what rust protection (plating) should I use to re-plate the nut and bolts? Zinc, zinc nickel , use a chromate? What was used back in 1938?

To restore the car to as original as possible, what rust protection can I use and not get dinged if I ever have the car judged at a show?

I'm trying to identify the license plate light assembly mounted on the
Trunk of a 1938 Packard 1601 model. Does it have a red lense with
Packard etched in the glass? I've seen some that have "Vega"
Stamped on the bracket and some not stamped, is this a remake?
Can someone post a picture of what the assembly looks like for
this model. Any information would be appreciated.
