In search of trunk retainer (Packards description) for both sides. This is a piece about 15" long that attaches to the trunk via rivets that holds the stainless steel trim moldings . Need both sides.

I'm doing a frame off restoration on a 1941 Clipper. Just recently installed all my lines. Should be very similar to what you have. If you PM your email I'll send pictures.

I have always believed that loosing Max Gilman was the beginning of the end for Packard. He was very successful with his importing business and sports cars after leaving Packard. I've always wondered where Packard would have gone had he stayed.
