Hello, Can anybody out there help me out? I am trying to find out more about my car. It is a 1942 110 6 Special Club Sedan. The VN is 1585-3139. I would like to find out how many of these were built and maybe even some idea of how many still exist. Looking around on this site I haven't found any other Clipper 6 club sedans and the little I have looked at other sites I haven't seen any either. Can anyone enlighten me?
Thanks

thanks for the info. It gives me a direction to go in figuring out what to do about the ugly hole in my dash.

DanL, I don't know anyone in the Mn Packard Club. As I mentioned, I just got this car earlier this month and am just now starting to really get into it. Doubt that I will be going to twin cities as I don't care for big cities and we have a very active car club here. I also have a couple other cars that my wife and I play with (70 Nova and 72 Cutlass) and we keep pretty busy as it is. That being said, It would be good to get out and see other Packards. My wife and I both are pretty excited about this car.

Thanks again for the info and it is great having somewhere to go for advice and discuss common interests.

Merry Christmas,
crotomac

My 42 clipper has a series of openings in the center of the dash. One is about 3" X 3 1/2" and there is also about a 1" dia. hole and a couple of smaller rectangular holes. The previous owner said that this was where the ash tray went but the photo's I have seen shows the ash tray below the dash. Can anybody tell me what was there and maybe even where I can parts to fill the holes?
thanks
