P.S. What is that small box that the 2 yellow/green wires are attached to? The wires/box that are near your Temp Sending Unit? Thanks again!

Wow, very nice. Thank you very much. Would it be too much trouble to ask for one (or 2) more photos of the wires below the Overdrive Box? I am looking for routing to the starter, to the Overdrive Box, and to the box (Lockout Switch?) that is attached to the steering column.

I made a Harness for an automatic trans, this one is proving to be more interesting.

Your engine compartment is beautiful!

Does anybody out there have a good photo or diagram showing the firewall of a '48 Packard with 3-speed Overdrive?

I am trying to figure where all those wires that are bundled with the Starter Wires are going.

Will a 50 Ultramatic bolt up to a 55 V8 engine?

48 49 50 Instrument Switch Panel bulbs

There are 2 lights that illuminate the Instrument Switch Panel? One is wired to the Headlamp Switch, and the other is wired to the Instrument Lamp Switch. I forgot where these go. I see that one plugs into the back of the switches to illuminate all the different switch names? What is the other used for and where does it go?

Lamp Socket Parts

My new wiring harness for my '48 Packard is almost complete. The only thing standing in my way of getting it installed and connected are the numerous light bulb sockets (dash, interior, door, etc). I have all of the Bulb Sockets I need as I salvaged them from my old wire harness. What I need are the small metal items that crimp to the wire ends. The bulbs get their power thru these. Does anybody know where I can obtain several of these? Thank you.
