Correct paint for frame and chassis on a 52 Deluxe 200

I am getting ready to start on what I hope will be a frame-off restoration on my 52 Deluxe 200. From what I can tell the frame uses a special black frame paint like I would get from Eastwood. What about the chassis? Can I use the same paint or is the color and/or texture different. I have never done a total frame-off before. All help appreciated. Thanks, Tracy.

What should it cost to have all of the chrome re-chromed?

The chrome on my 52 200 needs redone. For most part it is still intact, just dulled through the years! The only places I see that will need additional work are one of the headlight bezels and one of the bumper guards-chrome had disappeared and rust is showing. We are in Omaha, Nebraska. There are several good plating companies here.

We are talking about both bumpers, the grille, hood ornament, headlight bezels, trunk ornament, and the 6 decorations on the rear fender whatever they are called-3 on each side.
I may try to get this done over the winter-just need to schedule finances, Thanks, Tracy.

You're right Larry. I wanted to put on 235/75r15s but they wouldn't fit. The 215's fit but I have to jack up the car even without the skirts!

Rust sealer-treatment

I have a 52 200 Deluxe. It has surface rust on the trunk floor and the passenger compartment floor, but no holes. I have seen the Rustseal products that you just remove the loose rust and paint right over the rest. It is supposed to seal and strengthen (?) the area. Has anyone used this stuff-and if so, what is your take on it? Thanks, Tracy.

The heater fan motor was just loose wires. The temp sender is a sending unit. I haven't had a good chance to look at the radio yet. I may leave the negative ground that way. It is charging and starting.

I was going to do a filter and fluid change on my 52 200 deluxe with an ultramatic. The book calls for type A fluid. I haven't seen this around for years and could not find it at any of the parts stores. What do you guys use? Thanks, Tracy.

What tires to get??!!

I need a set of tires for the 52 200 I just purchased. The ones that are on it are 800-15s. I would like to get a set of radials for it. Would that be the equivalent of a 235/75r15? The ones that are on there are bias-plies and look ancient-can't believe they hold air!! Are these tube type tires-and if so, can I put tubeless radials on those rims? Thanks, Tracy.

Thanks guys! I'll get going. I noticed that there is no "fuse Box" on these, just inlines and breakers. This car was born the same year I was!
