I was going to do a filter and fluid change on my 52 200 deluxe with an ultramatic. The book calls for type A fluid. I haven't seen this around for years and could not find it at any of the parts stores. What do you guys use? Thanks, Tracy.

What tires to get??!!

I need a set of tires for the 52 200 I just purchased. The ones that are on it are 800-15s. I would like to get a set of radials for it. Would that be the equivalent of a 235/75r15? The ones that are on there are bias-plies and look ancient-can't believe they hold air!! Are these tube type tires-and if so, can I put tubeless radials on those rims? Thanks, Tracy.

Thanks guys! I'll get going. I noticed that there is no "fuse Box" on these, just inlines and breakers. This car was born the same year I was!

52 Packard 200 with a negative ground

On Monday I purchased a 52 200 with a straight 8. It is a 6 volt, but it was hooked up with a negative ground. The radio, heater fan, and temp gauge are not working. Can I just reverse the cables without any ill effects? I have a wiring diagram that I printed off from this site. Is there anything special I should look for before switching the cables. I was a mechanic for 15 years but never have worked on anything this old, or a 6 volt system. All help appreciated. Thanks, Tracy.
