Bob's Speedometer restored the clock from my '37 One Twenty. Great to work with.

Does anybody know if Caribbeans had a hood quilt from the factory?

Hi Mike,

Nice Caribbean you have there. Yes, I believe these were installed at the factory. My 1953 Caribbean has remnants of the old yellow fiberglass insulation under the hood. My car is an unrestored, unmolested survivor. Same color as yours. Enjoy the journey !

Flackmaster,

Do you happen to still have frame to crankcase splasher assembly for a 1937 One Twenty sedan? If so, I could use the passenger side (316021). I could also use two rear ash trays (housing and inserts) for the same car.

Thanks

Hey Tom,

I am just catching up to the re-emergence of "old Bessie". She sure looks great ! Glad to see her and you out and about again. Let me know if you're going to attend something in the western 'burbs in the near future. Maybe we can meet up and catch up.

Don,

Sandy was still with us back in June when I spoke to him. I called the 520 number and his wife (Rose?) picked up. Mike was not available so she put Sandy on the phone. I ordered a trunk hinge for my '37 120 and it arrived within a couple of weeks.

I have met both Sandy and Mike at swap meets. They are among the nicest people in the hobby.

Thanks again Ken. Was this 3/4 inch plywood and trimmed with jute on the edges to bring it level with the steel toe board and under seat floor sections?

BTW, I really enjoy your posts on your 120. Keep up the great work.

There has been a lot of activity with the 1937 junior cars on the forum lately. I'd like to ask a question on my project. The floor board on my 120 touring sedan were long gone when I got the car. Was the open section in the photo between the toe board and the seats wood or stamped steel?

Thanks !
