Look, all I've done is tell you that I was glad that you were on here and was glad that you're supplying parts to us who need them. All you've done is very blatantly called me a liar and an idiot, who doesn't know what he's talking about. Sure, I've been wrong on some things, but I've been right on others. There's no need to keep bashing me in nearly every post that you make, I just don't understand what you have against me, that's all.

As for my comments about stopping my support for you, put yourself in my shoes for a moment. When someone comes in here and continuously badgers you after you've done nothing but support them, you kinda get turned off to them. And if that someone happens to own a business, well then it turns you off to that business as well.

As for a "valid consumer reason", well, I'm still waiting on you to send me some parts to analyze to make that determination. Another reason would be based solely on your personality and attitude, which from what I'm gathering isn't the nicest I've ever seen. Must be a New Jersey thing.

When you first came on here, I thought "GREAT! Now we've got someone who can help us develop the parts we've been looking for, as well as give us pointers on things we've been wondering about". Turns out you're nothing but a damn big disappointment to me and a lot of others on here who were hoping for a little help instead of a lot of condescending remarks. Like I say, must be a New Jersey thing.

Where exactly are you supposed to put the fluid if there is no canister or container to put it in?

As for your second statement, if you can draw conclusions from my posts, I can draw conclusions from yours:

Quote:
YOur posts are stated most emphatically and authoritatively
and leave no room for doubt that you are 100% correct.

Meaning that if I'm 100% correct then I'm a correct source of knowledge, correct? For the record, I have never once claimed to be an authority on Packards of any year, but I've worked on enough to know my way around them and read enough manuals to know a couple of things about them. I just don't get all this hostility towards me in particular, you're really not doing a good job promoting your business on here if you ask me, more like the opposite.

Stop now, you're digging yourself too deep a hole.

Very true, as my Vo-tech auto shop teacher always said, you can never have a good enough ground.

Uhh, I never once stated it was original, I was just stating the different versions I've seen regarding wiper washers.

When you state this: Quote:
. Whjile you may have seen a pump or a foot pedal/pump on some Packards that does not make it original and might tend to mislead some readers. YOur posts are stated most emphatically and authoritatively
and leave no room for doubt that you are 100% correct.

You are in fact wrong. I never once stated most emphatically and authoritatively that I was the only correct source of knowledge regarding anything on Packards. You're misreading my posts and drawing incorrect conclusions.

As for thanking me for my support, well, you're too late on that aspect. I stand by my statement that I will never buy anything from you again and I will tell others to do the same.

Torbopacman/Eric Boyle says that the (original) windshield washer system will have either a foot pump or a motor (pump). Both of those are absolutely wrong. Now there's a problem with his information in that he has a disclaimer as to the correctness of his posts in that he may be being funny/sarcastic.

If he does not affitmatively state that his post is serious, he says it gives him an "out" on being correct. In other words he says his information is worthless. I wholehaeartedly agree.

The 22nd/23rd series windshield washer system has a round glass bottle mounted on the fiewall, a screw-on top about 5" in diameter with two connections on the top. Look on ebay under windshield wiper for typical units. One connection is for output water which goes to the nozzles, the other is a vacuum line which comes from an acutuating chrome buttoned switch at the lower left of the dash. Inside the jar is a mechanism that is actuated by the vacuum.

I am not sarcastic or making jokes and am fully responsible if my information is wrong. I will apologize and correct it as is appropriate. I respect this forum, its readers and its purpose of sharing information. There are plenty of forums for sarcasm, ridicule and other such activities, this is not one of them.

Fred, can I ask you why exactly that you have such a hard time with me when I've done nothing but thank you and support you on here?

As for the seriousness of my post, I was completely serious. I have for in fact seen foot operated pumps in Packards, as well as vacuum operated ones, as well as ones with an electric pump. They may not be all 100% Kanter-Chinackard approved equipment, but I've seen them all the same.

I will tell you this, you've now lost a customer, and I've been telling people for years to buy stuff from you. From now on I will tell them to go somewhere else. And I will never buy anything from you ever again and will use every catalog you send me for the bird cage. You obviously have zero respect for me as you keep singling me out in damn near every post you make.

And I figured you'd back out on your offer to send me parts to analyze, didn't figure you wanted what I'd most likely find to be known anyway.

Tell that to Craig, Mat from Australia, and a couple others on here, I'm betting they'll disagree with you a little.

This week I promise I'll have a video up showing how to properly rebuild a BTV.

You need to torque each cover bolt to about 740 ft lbs for a firm seal, then spray down the engine compartment with febreze.....

That kinda follows my guidelines of "tighten it until it breaks then back it off 1/4 turn..."

Use some Indian Head gasket sealer on a new gasket, that should stop it.
