Here is the story of the scientist who proved that lead added to gasoline was a major public health hazard and why it was ultimately removed from gas:

As you might guess from my e-mail address packard5687@mac.com,
my favorite Packard is the '56 Four Hundred hardtop, closely followed by the '56 Caribbean hardtop. Otherwise, my favorite Packards are the '47 Clipper Custom Super Eights (because I also am a " '47 model"!) and the '34 Twelves.

Yes! I don't live far from you - I'm near Sacramento. It likely would be worth the money to have it inspected.

Today "Packard Truck Dave" brings us the conclusion of his three-part story of how he got "into" Packard trucks. It's a great story!

John - are you referring to this one?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1956-Packard-Clipper/253505337299?hash=item3b061877d3:g:q6EAAOSwX2xasHc2&vxp=mtr It's hard to tell from the photos on eBay, but it looks like a nice Deluxe. My guess is that it is a re-paint. I'm probably too much of a purist, but it's always a turn off to me to see that the Ultramatic has been replaced by a Chrysler transmission even though I understand the reasons for it having been done. The photos indicate the trunk mat is original and in good condition. That's a rarity.

Geoff has rented a storage space to get the Monte Carlo convertible out of the weather and has taken the car off of the trailer. New photos (scroll down):
