Judging from the listing price it looks like Kev has about $3,000 worth of hubcaps hanging up in that picture...

Hi Guys,
Another ebay post which I thought was worth posting, if these hubcaps are worth $1500, I would hate to see how much the wheels would cost... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380348636898&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123 Surely these are overpriced... If not, i'm really surprised

The Caribbean (5588-1006) is being re-restored, the vehicle has been repainted the correct original colors (paint code: MAC) White Jade - Jade - Emerald
I will be visiting my mechanic sometime this coming week so will post a picture of it. Looking forward to getting that car back on the road very very soon

I'm one of the owners of a 55 Carib. in Oz,
I know I haven't been online lately I know of another 55 Caribbean located in South Aus. Though I haven't seen it only ever seen a photo of it. Also, supposedly there is a 56 Caribbean located in Queensland. There could be more down here... I know there's a couple 54 Caribbeans floating around aswell. We don't see many off these "senior" cars as they weren't originally sold by the dealers in Australia. All these Caribbeans have been imported into Australia.

Packard & Diamond T trucks

Hi All,
Whilst reading some magazines I came across an article on the diamond T trucks. The article showed a picture of the dash which appears to use the exact same gauges as that of the 10th & 11th Series Packard. I found an image online which shows the gauges (not the best angle) but I was wondering is there any connection between these two companies, or were these gauges made by an outside source and were available to different manufactures at that time? Kind regards, Mathew

The first photo shows the starter when it wouldn't start then by moving the gear down as seen in the second photo the car starts fine
