Hi Guys,
Another ebay post which I thought was worth posting, if these hubcaps are worth $1500, I would hate to see how much the wheels would cost... cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 8&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123 Surely these are overpriced... If not, i'm really surprised

Mat,
Could be there's actually a '54 Clipper included in the price, or it's with "Free Shipping", or an extra zero was included in the price before the decimal point, or they are just being dangled as bait waiting for BigKev to bid, or...... Whatever the reason, I have sent a question to the seller asking about the listed price.

That reply kind'a sounds like someone we all know???? Go look at the other listings the seller has. There are several 'packaged' items with hand writing on them. Anyone recongnoze the hand writing????

Those are '54 Clipper only. I already have a NOS set of those in the garage still in their factory wrappers. Maybe on a high end they would be worth $125 each.
These are wheel covers...not wire wheels after all. Don't think they would ever sale at at that price unless someone has more money that sense.

Kevin is about right on pricing. In reality about 100.00 each nos is fair for buyer and seller. The guy is looking for just one big fish.

Looking at the other items he sells, many under $20, I think just his typing and proofreading skills need improvement

Try to see things from the spiritual perspective. Hubcaps could be art!
