Hi Eric,
I was having the same problem when I got mine; however, I made it further than you do before it would die. I did everything you have done.....new fuel pump, plugs, wires, rotor, condensor, cap, coil.

My car had a small Holden Carb on it that I knew was too small and I scored the correct carb on ebay and then a kit in it, and the problem finally went away.

But for all I know, I simply finally ran some old gas through it and got it to all clean fuel.

All I can say is keep pluggin away

Gee, maybe I don't want to meet his father

The Delage was magnificent....supposedly a guy paid a 100 grand for it to be in his daughter's wedding but then they wouldn't let him park it in front of the Opera House so it didn't get used in the wedding (something tells me that family has money).

The Auburn was beautiful but it must have been restored by a guy that was 4 foot 9 because no normal size person could fit behind the wheel and drive it.

Lots of fun and lots of nice cars but for me the star attraction was something I had never seen before. A "Stick Insect" .....about the size of a human hand.

I had a similar experience that was baffling. Everything was new, gapped properly, timing and dwell set by a friend with proper equipment. When warmed up and driving it would start to miss.

What fixed mine was I loosened the distributor, advanced it a bit then tightened it back down and everything went good.
