I need an exploded view of the steering column and shift linkage for my 1955 Clipper/Panama. It feels like some thing is binding when it goes into park. There is nothing in my Packard repair manual about this.

I need assistance with the dash fuel guage on my 1955 Clipper= when a volt meter is put on the lead coming from the dash guage, the voltage pulsates from zero to 12 volts in a steady stream- (like a clock ticking) is this correct? should the voltage be constant 12 volts? I am installing a new tank sending unit and I don't want to mess it up
