brake lights

Just can't stay away
Just can't stay away

Bill
I'm having a problem with my brake lights coming on after I park my 51 200. After a couple of hours the brake light comes on and ends up killing my battery. I have to disconnect the battery to save it. Any thoughts?

While this is not a official Packard Car Show Tom Kaiser President/Founder of the Florida Packard Car Club puts on the show along with Devereaux. There are over 2000 cars and over 18,000 spectators will converge on Venice Florida Airport Fairgrounds at 8:30 this Sunday the 27th of January for a free show.
This one heck of a show. Cars of every make and model are pulled out of the garage just for this show. It is hard to believe that so many Cars are in the area.

Update on my transmission:Dropped the transmossion and popped the top.Turns out I had a lot of teeth damage. Had to get a new cluster gear and second gear on the top was damaged . Replaced those and all the seals along with the sycro rings. Put it back together putting 90 weight oil in. Now it shifts and sounds better. While it was down I replaced the wiring harness from the dash to the rear tail lights. It is so nice to have my Car back.
Happy New Year Everyone. Happy Motoring.

Ok. So I took off the top of the gear box on the transmission and looked down inside and seen the 2gear has some cracked teeth. Would anyone have a line on where I might be able to pick-up a cluster gear for a 3 speed manual trans.?

Ok. So I found out today its not a fluid problem . It is my main shaft and bearing. It can never be something simple. So if anyone knows of a good 3 speed transmission laying around for sale please let me know.

Ok. So I finally got around to getting some fluid into the transmission. Didn't help. When I push the clutch in the bagging stops. When I let te clutch out and bring up the rpms its not as noticable. When I take it around the block its not as bad as it use to be till I put it in 2 gear then I have to get into 3rd fast to stop the banging. Thoughts? And does anyone know a good Transmission shop in Fl.
