Just to give you guys a heads up; we're doing a car club appreciation promo this month and rewarding everyone with 10% off their entire order. I think this is a unique website and really enjoy what Big Kev and everyone has to say, so you guys are the first to hear of this. The promo code is listed in the banner below.

Thank you Eric for referring people over to us. We have not altered our floor pans for the 1951-56 because we have not been contacted directly with any problems concerning the fit nor have we been supplied with a "correct" pattern to go from. It's funny that you mentioned a template made from fiberglass, because that is how we received the patterns for the 1948-50 (and also 1941-47 Clipper) and we've yet to hear a problem pertaining to them. I don't think that there would be a problem making the lower rear section of the rear quarter panel considering that we currently make the full lower rear quarter panel. I will have my fabricators look into that next week and see what we come up with. As you are aware of, we currently make the lower section of the trunk pan for the 1948-50 but we can not make the wheel well section due to the process of how we currently make our product, but we are tooling right now to change that here in the next year or so.

Keegan,

I am glad that you have chosen our company to help you with the restoration on your Packard, but not pleased that our product has not met your expectations. We are eager to hear our customer's feedback (good and bad) and it is people like yourselves that keep business' like ours going. Any feedback that you may have on how we can better our product is always welcomed and you can email us anytime at Sales@c2cfabrication.com . Almost all of the product that we make have been supplied to us from customers that either cut out their originals and send to us, or by them making a template of them and sending that. The problem with making dies from templates are that each person has their own way of making them and some are not as accurate as others. We are constantly going back correcting patterns of ours based on feedback from customers and our goal is to make your restoration process as easy as possible for you. We have since corrected our outer rocker panels for the Packard, and have actually installed them ourselves to insure the quality of the fit. We have just came out with the trunk pan for the 1951-56 Packard. The trunk has been made into two sections that are to be welded to form a whole piece (for shipping purposes) and do not include the spare tire well, but do have the indent where it is located. Any member of this website that would like to purchase or inquire about any of the product that we make for the Packard can contact me directly at the email address provided and I will give you a discount on the price listed on our website. Any friend of BigKev is a friend of ours.

Jeff,

Before we formed our company, we started out buying and selling in bulk at swap meets and might have what you're looking for. We still have several water pumps, fuel pumps and master cylinders in stock that I am having one of our guys go through and eventually identify everything. I do know that we have several of the original Packard hood ornaments laying around somewhere. I will check to see if we have some chrome trim and if I find some I will get back to you.

We've just finished the trunk floor pan lower section for the 1948-50 Packard. This does not include the upper spare tire well section and the price is $99.99. Here is a picture of what it looks like.

For the 1948-50 Packard, we currently have the inner and outer rocker panels, Front and rear floor pans and now the lower trunk pan (we could not fabricate the spare tire well). I have not decided on a price for the trunk pan, but it'll be around $89.99. You can visit our website for pictures and pricing info, or email me at Sales@c2cfabrication.com with any inquiries. For some reason, our website tends to load very slowly if you're using a Microsoft Explorer web browser or any other browser supported by such, but if you use Mozilla firefox or any other browser then it loads very fast (we're trying to work this problem out). We have also just completed the front floor pans for the 1938-40 Packard and you guys are the first to know about this. Here is a picture of what they look like. We hope to have most sheet metal replacement panels available for all Packard models in the near future.

In the next couple of months we actually will venture into the stamping market. We're going to start slow with the lower rear quarter panels for the popular cars, and then work our way towards the lesser popular cars. Our goal is to manufacture the front and rear floor pans, trunk pans and inner and outer rocker panels first. We've been provided with templates for a 1938 Packard sedan, in which we've just made the front and rear floor pans. Once we figure out all of the years and makes that it covers we will make it available on our website to the public. If anyone knows, please let us know.

Not a problem at all guys, we're here to make your job restoring classics much easier. Our outer rocker panels would have the correct radius bend in them; however we did notice a change in our 4dr patterns and it is getting fixed right now.

I am the owner of Classic 2 Current Fabrication, and we do currently manufacture the front and rear floor pans as well as the inner and outer rocker panels for the 1948-50 Packard. The gentleman who stated above that the body moldings did not line up on his convertible was correct about much of what he stated. We're learning much about these as we go along because we were originally provided with a fiberglass template that was molded from the coupe. When installing these into the sedan, the rear floor pan only covers as far as to where the passenger's in the back would place there feet (about a 15inch gap from there to the trunk). Because the convertibles have a cross beam behind the front seats, some trimming is required when installing these onto that. These are also interchangeable for the 1941-47 Packard Clipper, also with some trimming required. Once unique thing about being located outside of Detroit is that we actually have a very good friend of the original Packard proven grounds driver working with us to figure out all of the makes and models that our panels fit and what work is required when installing these. We currently have the trunk floor pan for the 1948-50 into production, but we're waiting on pictures of the trunk so we are able to finish this project and make these available to the public.

From what we have gathered (remember that we deal in almost every make/model so it's hard to know them all), the 2dr and 4dr rear quarters are different. The 2dr would be much longer than the 4dr. These cover pretty much the entire wheel arch and go all the way back to the rear of the car; and up to the mid-body line (about 2-4 inches above the wheel well). These would curve down and along the bottom of the car where that 'hump/bubble' would be at the start of the rear quarter directly behind the door (does not include the 'hump/bubble'). You'll notice from the pictures of the originals and of ours, that we've added a bit more steel on there to give the person more steel to work with so it's much easier installing these.
