Russ,
Had '32 cam grinding/straightening/metal spaying work done by the first two. Heard about the last two from others. Delta Cam did work where the cam journals were metal sprayed and ground, then the cam bearings were re-machined to fit. effingham-regrinding.com/effingham-il-remanufacturing-shop.htm deltacam.com/index.php elgincams.com/ oregoncamshaft.com/classic-car.html

I was told my old mechanic buddies to make sure that the cam is "Parkerised" after it is reground. That's what I had done on my 51 cam.

Bruce Blevins whose restorations of 33 Eights is well-regarded gives this recommendation:
LSM Systems Engineering 4670 Hatchery Road Waterford Twp. Michigan 48329 248-674-4967 lsmeng@sbcglobal.net They've done 2 standard 8 cam shafts for me and have all the data to do them.

Thanks, ALL, for the camshaft grinding company suggestions. Now, have found that we also need for the 1933 Packard Standard 8 camshaft, rollers & pins, and one cam shaft bearing. Really appreciate the help here. Russ

Contact Egge, they are the source for the rollers and pins and may have the bearings as well. If not, the old cam bearing shells can be rebabbitted and this is rather commonly and successfully done for cam bearings, I'd recommend Pauls Rod & Bearing in Parkville, MO for this work.
