I'm not certain how long Packard offered the "chassis in color" option for but I suspect 1936 was the last year it was offered on the senior cataloged cars. I don't believe it was ever an option on the juniors but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm incorrect. Of course on a one-off, anything is possible.
Normally good taste in style would have "chassis in color" to contrast with and not match body color.

Thanks for the reply. I'll keep my chassis black for now. The body color will be the Packard Cream, which is a light yellow. Incidentally, although the car came to me painted black, the original color was Packard Cream. Thanks, again.

the 115 was a mass-produced mid-market car - I'd be very surprised if any were produced with non-standard chassis paint
