Reconditioning brakes. Drums need to be turned. Anyone with specs for minimum thickness of drum wall or minimum inside diameter?

Thanks. I don't know what the original diameter was or whether they have been turned before. Any further thoughts? What is worse case if they are turned over the theoretical .060? Or if the drums are not perfectly smooth?

The original diameter was almost certainly an even to the inch measurement, 14.00, 15.00, 16.00, etc. and in any case it's probably given in the specifications for your car. Any decent truck repair shop will have a gauge for measuring the current diameter, the equipment to cut it, and probably excellent advice on the limits. That kind of a shop would be my first stop.

May need new 14 inch rear drums. So far unable to find shop to turn mine.
Anyone with a spare rear end with diff, axles, and 14 inch wheels drums?
