Can someone tell me the size of the brass plug that drains the block on a '37 115c? This idiot shade tree mechanic dropped mine in the grass and can't find it.

So you're telling me that he's draining your oil in a ditch
Guys like that should be tarred & feathered!I'm not a big environmentalist but some common sense would be nice.

Might want to tap the brakes on your indignation:

1. I wasn't draining the oil, I was draining the coolant.
2. I was catching what I drained is a basin, not draining it onto the ground.

I was carrying the plug along with some tools and other parts and dropped it whilst walking to my garage.

You're out of line chief.

Thanks for the answer. I'm pretty sure this is bigger than 1/8". Maybe 3/8"?

A 1/8" pipe thread appears to be about 3/8".
