Hi there!

I met a guy who has a '41 One Twenty and is looking for information on who bought it and the car's history. HE has had it for about 2 years and was told it was bought by West Virginia University originally from the Davidson Brothers Motor Co in Morgantown, WV on 6/20/41, but that's about it. Any help you may be able to offer is sincerely appreciated, thanks!

Dave

If you didn't get any history of prior ownership from the person you bought the car from and didn't find any prior ownership documents in the car, your chances for finding prior history are slim to none. If you are a member of The Packard Club you might contact the Roster Keeper for your year and model and see if he has any prior history - again a long shot at best.

Correct.

For 1941 it was the lighter Chickory Green over the darker Grove Green.

However in 1942 it was reversed with Grove Green over Chickory Green.
