Should the wheel rims be painted the same color as the car (Packard Blue) or did they all come with the same color (maroon) regardless of body color?
Thanks

Under the standard Packard factory paint schemes, the wheel rims were always painted to match the body color. The PAC website (www.packardclub.org) has a Reference section that will give you the correct body, wheel and pinstriping colors for each paint scheme by year. I have heard that Packard would paint the rims a different color than the body (usually red) for extra cost as a special order, but have never seen any documentation for this.

I copied this material from the PAC website. It shows all of the standard 1937 paint schemes. Packard Blue is Scheme B. The second chart shows the corresponding body, wheel and stripe color for each scheme.
