30's Radiator Replacement

I have a 900 Sedan, all original except radiator replaced with modern core. I have no overheating issues. I located a good original honeycomb radiator that would add to originality, is there any reason not to refurbish the honeycomb unit and install it (I.e., would I be more likely to overheat)?

If the car wasn't a chronic overheater when new (and I don't believe it was) and the honeycomb meets original flow rate specs and otherwise is in OEM condition, then why would you have a problem now? Or at least one that was radiator-caused?

But OLD honeycomb radiators bring chills to my spine.
