How thick is EE 16 carburetor insulator? My aftermarket choices are 1/4" and 1/2".

According to the parts books, Packard used the same insulator for all 2-barrel carburetors from 1940-1954 [p/n 341593]. The thickness of the insulators on my models 2206, and 2306 are 3/8".
