Maintenance Manual for 1928 526 Runabout

I'm having my guy do some work on the car and he'd like a maintenance manual. We are getting all the gauges on the dash to work, pulling the tank and working on the brakes. Probably should have one for the car, especially since I have them for the other cars. Found some stuff in the Literature section, but not really a full MM.

Thanks!

The PAC website has a reprint of the 1st to 5th series shop manual as well as some collections of the early service letters for sale in their online store.

Not sure how much you are expecting in a maintenance manual but most Packard service or shop manuals -- especially prewar -- were less than spectacular and leave a lot to be desired when it comes to fine details of every little part. They seem to basically cover the highlights of something new or changed from a previous model with the expectation that the mechanic already knew how to work on the older versions.

Is your 1928 Packard white?
If so, that's one beautiful automobile!
I can envision that car roaring down Rt.49 at night with all lamps lit.
Of course that would be with the highway in its original concrete surface.
Babump, babump, babump, over those tar filler joints, love that sound!

In addition to the shop manual, the owner's manual contains a lot of maintenance/repair information replete with cutaway drawings, etc. It is in a PDF file in the literature and manuals section of this website.

Thanks for the replies and the nice words, Lee!

Yup, it's the white one with the black top and red stripe. I'm in Vineland, we've probably seen each other. Which show did you see me at? Picture is below.
