Best way to remove the jet is to make up a special tool that interfaces with the two small blind holes / indentations drilled in the face of the jet.
Pic's attached of one I've made. The jet unscrews from the casting, it has right hand threads, CCW rotation to remove.

thanks for the drawing and input, I have removed everything from the carb and checked all ports, other than a small crack in the throttle body, I see nothing wrong,
I have a replacement throttle body and I am hopeful that will fix my issues. Any other suggestions or ideas are welcomed! Barry 336-516-7009

Sherlock, glad I could help.
Some dimensions of the working end of the tool, in case you want to fabricate one.

Thanks again 32. What did you use for the pins? I'm thinking the butt end of a 1/8" drill bit?

I used short pieces of music wire.
mcmaster.com/#music-wire/=195x9iu Drill rod would also work. mcmaster.com/#drill-rods/=195xag7 Or the broken off ends of a size 50 drill would also do the job. mcmaster.com/#standard-drill-bits/=195xay7 Drill the depth at least 3X the pin projection, or about .300 deep. I press fit the pins in, if this is a problem drill the holes slightly larger and use thread locker, Loctite 261 or equivalent to hold them in.
