How do i remove the dashboard on my 1940 Super 8? I am in the middle of rewiring the entire car and cannot find any nuts that hold the middle insert in-place.

Thanks

If you’re doing all the wiring, remove the windshield molding to get access to the screws that hold the tip of the dash. There oar nuts on the Barack side of the far left and right. Loosen the steering column screws and those along the bottom of the dash.
You can access the nuts if the back side of the center section by removing the ashtray and the radio and pushing the radio back. Removing the glove box can give you more room..
