According to the 35-41 parts book the 120 series used the same cane shift trans in all their various model designations from 35-38. In 39 when the column shift became available and cane shift was still an option there was a different part number for the cane shift version.
Someone more knowledgeable in prewar cars will need to give you the price estimate. EDIT: Cli55er brings up a good point. Apparently there was only one transmission and depending on model, either a separate new cane shift lever was ordered along with the trans or the old shift was reused. Parts book lists 8 different cane shift lever part numbers available to cover the same 4 years of models where the single trans is called for.
