will be interesting to see how the TL system handles that much power on take off. It'll be better than the non-TL and prior leaf spring rear suspension. It's kind of like a drag racing ladder bar arrangement. The solidly attached trailing arms and "S" bar are simple and can handle pretty much any torque thrown at it. Craig

yes i dont remeber what they are, in my first post i gave them up in i am new to packards need help. its a shame my car is a all number matching car. but the engine was bad! and the cost to build the packard drive train and what i had in the garage it was cheeper for me to do a transplant. sorry to all the packard die hards. but i have a 69 camaro, 70 and 1/2 camaro, and a 33 all steel 3 window with a flat head that has never been touched. as well as my custom harley so im looking for just a fun fast toy that that no not evry one has. you won't see too many packard clippers out there with a big block in them with more candy on it then willy wonkas factory >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> lol

Thanks, you cleaned up the fire wall, by closing the heater and fresh air, so I thought you might have done the same with the numbers.

Thank you Al. I don't feel so alone in the Packard engine swap circle. If you check restore or...... in the modification forum you will see another Packard built for fun project. Your Clipper looks great. I certianly will be sure to take your 55 off my want to play with list. Good luck with your project.
