Per request of Mr. Grubbs, here are some shots of the rear sway bar I added to my 51 200 about 20 years ago. This makes a nice reduction in body roll with no noticeable changes in ride quality. The car is very light on its feet even on mountain roads.

This is an Addco #916 which is still available for about $145 from Summit. It nicely tucks inside the leaf springs.

The clamps to the rear axle come with the kit, as do the links. I welded some simple brackets to the frame to accept the links. The angle of the bar to the link looks odd because the axle is hanging down as the car is on the lift. Under normal conditions the bar and link form a right angle and the rubber bushings do not look so stressed.

I have installed this same bar on bathtubs with very good effect. IIRC, the arms needed to face forward on those cars to clear the track bar.
