Sounds like a nice event, thanks for the pictures.
BTW, I believe that Dodge Wayfarer to be a real throwback car, a true roadster (no rollup windows). A pretty rare car, even when new. PS - are Dodge Vipers true roadsters? I was on the verge of saying the Wayfarer was the last American roadster but suddenly I thought perhaps the Viper was.

Dave, small correction. Kevin is talking about a 1950 Dodge Wayfarer so it should already have rollup windows. You are of course right in saying that the first 1949 Wayfarer "Sportabouts" were true roadsters. Their lift-out windows were soon replaced by conventional rollup's six months after market launch.
The nitpicker, best of after show contest. Edit: After rereading I see that Kevin called it a "1950 Dodge Wayfarer roadster convertible" - Babylonian confusion.

The first Viper had no side windows or outside door handles. There was a fixed targa-style rear window, and a removable soft cover that connected the windshield to the targa bar. So a roadster on the window criterion, but I'm not sure with the targa
