I noticed this picture posted by Jeff from his 22/23 series convertible project. I think my car has the upper bracket, but it is just hanging and serving no purpose. I might be missing the other part that attaches to the clutch cover.

Would this be the same exhaust bracket set up for a 2106? If yes, how about a part number - no illustrations in the parts manuals and they list several exhaust/muffler brackets and supports. Thanks.

The 2106 and 2206 used the same bracket according to manuals. 2306 has a different number. Don't know the difference except the illustration looks to have a slightly different vertical piece so maybe that is it. Believe they also had Ultras as standard so not the same bolts for the bracket. Don't remember which year the convertible project was but from what I can see on the photo, what he shows is what I have -- except his is nicely plated. Here is a photo of mine. No idea if it should be plated or painted.

I keep forgetting that the diagrams in the 48-54 manual are all up front. This is what I needed to know.

I have a good repaired used one for sale if interested.
