Just acquired a '51 300 with 327 5 main and Ultramatic. Does anyone know if I should be putting lead substitute into the gas?

Fred and Dan have a 1966 high compression Caddy which has been driven 60,000 miles on unleaded with no damage. Per Fred Back in the 50's our '53 Patrician running on leaded gas needed a valve job every 35,000 miles.
