Is it possible to use a chevy or ford spotlight bracket on the same year Packard? I have been looking for brackets but have found none specifically for a Packard. Im thinking these will work, but if anyone has specific knowledge, I would greatly appreciate it. Unity spotlight, unity bracket. 1949 Packard standard eight.

Just my but unless there is some kind of universal bracket with built in accommodations, I think it would be pure luck where you would find a bracket made for the pitch and shape of another brand's post that will precisely match the Packard. At the least I would expect a gap somewhere. A small gap might be able to be covered up with some kind of pad or gasket under the bracket but I think finding one that had a perfect metal to metal fit would mean your stars were really aligned that day.
