Before I strip my wheel studs and nuts thought I'd ask. Does my 53 Patricain use left hand thread on the left side wheels?
Thanks

All of Post-War Packards that I have come across are Right-Hand thread (interchangeable from passenger to drivers side and back), and they were all lug bolts, not lug nuts before 1956.
Only Post-War era cars that I have come across with left hand threads were a couple Oldsmobiles for the mid 50s. If the lugs bolt wont remove by hand, try using a impact gun. I have had much more luck and less broken bolts using an impact on stubborn rusted fasteners vs. a normal wrench with a breaker bar. A few of the lug bolts were very hard to remove on my '54 because someone previously cross threaded them when reinstalling. So I recommend you run a tap through the drum holes, and a die over the lug bolts to clean up the threads and remove any corrosion before reinstalling. You'll be amazed at the difference when it comes to reinstalling them.

Chrysler and its siblings had a long love affair with left-hand threaded lug bolts.

The 57&58 Packardbakers have left and right hand threads on wheels. Final year for right and left threads was 58 on Studebaker and Packards
