I just purchased hubcaps from a wrecking yard that i thought were the correct ones for my 49'Deluxe Eight.2362.
They unfortunately do not fit on the wheels i have with the car. I was wondering if (1) anyone can tell me if i have the wrong hubcaps and if so can anyone post a pic of the ones im looking for. or (2) or if i have the right hubcaps point me in the right direction on what are the wheels i need. There is always the chance the previous owner changed them. Just covering my bases. Any info would be awesome guys. Thanks.

The cap you show is for 1951-53 junior series models.

It should look like this. For your car (chassis 2301) I believe the part number is L403031 for use with riveted clips.

The obvious solution is to get a 53' Packard for my new hubcaps,huh. :)

I'll keep looking for some hubcaps. these were $10 each. Couldn't pass it up if they were correct.

I picked up a set of 4 hubcaps that would fit your car on eBay, because I couldn't pass up the deal; I think I got the set for $20. They're in pretty good physical shape but the finish, though shiny, probably could use rechroming. Let me know if you'd be interested and I could send you some photos. You can have them for what I have in them + shipping.

I would be very interested, dan. If it would be easier to post a pic or two here or email them to me (i sould have my email under my info) that would be great. I was thinking of bidding on the ebay ones, but i avoid ebay if i can.
