Car parts don't look familiar but one wonders it someone was hiding the evidence of an early chop shop or worse. Could be a car version of Gibb's boat in the basement project -- without the basement.
Does give credence to the old stories about the Chicago way of life though. If the house was built around it, wonder how much the building inspector charged to overlook minor things like that.

I cant' figure out everything, but the front and rear fenders are from a '51 Henry J.

Is that fire damage I see, or primer spots? That's really weird either way. I like the chop shop idea.... They hid em there instead of destroying them, but then got busted anyway and the fenders were forgotten. Any loose floor boards??
