I am looking for some replacements for the plastic decorative fascia that attach (by four screws) to the bottom of the front bench seat in my 1954 Packard Clipper Super two-door club sedan. These decorative fascia hide the inner mechanics of the seat (but you knew that). Mine are cracked and flimsy. Alternately, has anyone out there refurbished theirs, and, if so, do you have any tips or instructions? Please see attached pic. Thanks Again!

Replacing is the option but finding decent in your trim set might be a challenge. If no luck, possibly fiberglass on the inside for reinforcement and use vinyl repair materials to fill in cracks. Those self sticking type fiberglass patches might be a reasonably easy reinforcement. A couple of places will make custom match vinyl dye so you could re-finish yours after repairs or possibly if you find a better but wrong color set, change to what you need.
