Can anyone tell me the weight of a 1953 engine complete to the bell housing. I need to find a price for shipping to Conn.

The weights are published in the Packard specs and I'd be glad to look it up, but you'll have to tell us which engine you're interested in, the 9-main 327 weights a bit more than the 5-main 327 and the 288.

With clutch and manual transmission (but w/o overdrive)all the different engines vary between 860 and 885 lbs.
