I saw this in the April 1951 Popular Science and figured I would pass it on. Anyone ever tried this before?

Interesting. Personally, I wouldn't want to mess with what I consider to be one of the slickest, best-looking dashboards of the late 40's (particularly the early 22nd series Custom). Never mind that you can't figure out what the buttons are for in dim light... I really like the clean streamlined look.
